The blind eventually end up being dumped into containment camps where there left to fend for themselves. Chaos erupts but a Doctor played by Mark Ruffalo has a big advantage over the others, his wife (Julianne Moore) has the ability to see and snuck into the camp to be with her husband.
One thing I found really interesting when reading through the reviews was that amoung the chaos, the victims find them self asking questions like if they even exist anymore; no one could see them and they couldn't see anyone either. Perhaps the most interesting point will be that, now blind to one another; appearance, age and gender would no longer matter and each person would be leveled.
Julianne Moores character is defiantly going to have some twist to it though. The movie opened at the Cannes Film Festival to great reviews. It's defiantly worth checking out and is guaranteed to make you think. Oh, and did I mention Sandra Oh was in it? I love her.

The next movie coming out you have to see is Blindness. Blindness is one of those movies that may not be a traditional horror movie but can manage to scare the crap out of you simply because the situations are so much more real and seemingly possible. Based on the book of the same name by author José Saramago, Director Fernando Meirelles manages to turn the eerie feeling of the novel into a visual nightmare. The movie takes place in the near future, where a disease that causes a person to go blind spreads like wildfire.
